What is a Public Adjuster?2019-07-20T16:30:43-04:00

A public adjuster is a specially-trained and licensed insurance claims adjuster who works for policy holders in appraising losses and negotiating settlements with insurance companies. Claims adjusters sent by the insurance company are working for the insurance company. A public adjuster like the professionals at Claims Elements Consultants works for YOU!

Why do I need to hire a public adjuster when I can do the paperwork myself?2019-07-20T16:30:49-04:00

Filing insurance claims is a complicated process. Without the help of a qualified professional, there’s a very good chance that you’ll get less than you’re entitled to or, worse yet, have your claim denied completely. Many clients prefer to use a public adjuster so that they don’t have to deal with the hassle of filing the paperwork for a claim and then negotiating a settlement with their insurance company. Whatever your situation, Claims Elements Consultants has the skill required to ensure that your claim is paid out at the highest amount you’re entitled to.

How much does it cost to hire a public adjuster?2019-07-20T16:30:55-04:00

Public adjusters’ fees are heavily regulated by the state of Florida. Our standard fee is a modest percentage of the amount we recover for you from your insurance company.

Can a claim be reopened once it has been filed and paid?2019-07-20T16:31:02-04:00

Although insurance companies would have you believe that once you receive a check and cash it, you’ve accepted the settlement and cannot ask for more, that’s NOT true. Time frames vary, but whenever possible we can re-open claims and get you the settlement you deserved in the first place.

If my claim was denied, can you help me appeal the decision?2019-07-20T16:31:06-04:00

Of course! We often represent clients whose claims were denied and have a track record of success in getting claims reopened and getting policyholders the money they’re entitled to.

The insurance company already sent an adjuster. What do I also need a public adjuster?2019-07-20T16:31:12-04:00

The adjuster sent by the insurance company is working for the insurance company. This conflict of interest can only be resolved when you hire a Public Adjuster to represent your interests. We work for you to make sure that your settlement covers all of your real costs.
